DMW boss, Davido has announced his forthcoming album titled “A Better Time” expected to be released in July. However, the forthcoming project ‘A Better Time’ comes after his previous album ‘A Good Time‘ released 5 months ago. Davido does not plan on slowing down this year as he revealed that he will be releasing his third studio album titled “A Better Time” in July. The new album will serve as a follow-up to his recently released album tagged “A Good Time.” He further took to his Twitter and Instagram handles to make the revelation about his forthcoming project. On his Instagram: @davidoofficial he captioned his post which read; “Me I wan Jogodo me I wan turn up !!!!!!!! Album JULY.”

The Nigerian presidency, Saturday morning, announced the death of the Chief of Staff to President Muhammadu Buhari, Abba Kyari. Presidential spokesman, Femi Adesina, made the announcement in a statement. “The deceased had tested positive to the ravaging COVID-19, and had been receiving treatment. But he died on Friday, April 17, 2020. May God accept his soul. Funeral arrangements will be announced shortly”, he added. Mexico Returns Ancient Sculpture To Nigeria . On Tuesday, the Mexican government delivered an ancient bronze sculpture seized by customs agents at Mexico City airport as its buyer tried to bring it into this country. The sculpture, from the 6th century Ile-Ife, shows a man wearing woven pants and a hat, sitting with his legs crossed and holding an instrument. Specialists from the National Institute of Anthropology and History determined that it was a piece of Yoruba origin. It was also determined that it had been illegally exported. According to the Government of Mexico official website, the customs authorities of the International Airport of Mexico City detected it when its buyer tried to introduce it to the country.

The Lagos State Government has said that the Chinese citizen who presented at the Reddington Hospital, Ikeja, and suspected to have Coronavirus has tested negative to the infection. Commissioner for Health, Prof. Akin Abayomi, in a statement Thursday, noted that the likelihood of COVID-19 infection in this particular patient was very low and the conclusion of investigations and sophisticated testing confirms that there is no case of Coronavirus in Lagos State as of now. “I would like to reassure Lagosians that our vigilance levels are very high and we are putting more measures in place to safeguard the State”, he said.
