It is still unknown what caused his mother's death. Popular Rapper, Olamide Adedeji a.k.a Baddo, announced the death of his mother few hours after he celebrated his son’s birthday on Tuesday. Just hours after he celebrated his son’s birthday, YBNL Boss, Olamide has been bereaved as he lost his mother to the cold hands of death. Recall that the “science student” crooner, had earlier penned a birthday message to his son, which reads; “Happy birthday Batifèori Maximiliano Adedeji more life young King from Dad,your best pal.” And about 4 hours after, he took to his Instagram page to mourn his mom’s death. It is still unknown what caused the mother’s death.

When symptoms occur they typically include fever , weakness, headaches, vomiting , and muscle pains . Less commonly there may be bleeding from the mouth or gastrointestinal tract . The risk of death once infected is about one percent and frequently occurs within two weeks of the onset of symptoms. Among those who survive about a quarter have deafness which improves over time in about half.

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board on Thursday directed all tertiary institutions to end their 2017 admission by January 25. The Board’s Head of Media, Dr Fabian Benjamin said the board’s decision came at a meeting where all issues and ones bordering on the admission process were taken into consideration. He said it was resolved that the academic calendar must be adhered to. According to him, the directive becomes necessary as the board intends to meet up with the academic calendar as earlier agreed. “By implication, candidates who have gained admissions into various institutions and are yet to register or do not have admissions by January 25 should begin to make preparations for the 2018 UTME. “The public must also note that the UTME results are valid for only one year and not three years as widely speculated. “If changes are made to the validity, I assure you the board would communicate appropriately to the public.” The board had recently said that the UTME examinations wou

The UN Under-Secretary-General for Peacekeeping Operations, Jean-Pierre Lacroix, has appointed a retired Nigerian lieutenant general, Chikadibia Obiakor, to lead a special investigation into the killing of some Burundian refugees in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC). Stephane Dujarric, spokesman for the UN Secretary-General in New York, announced this in a statement issued in New York. No fewer than 35 Burundian refugees were killed and more than 100 others wounded by security forces in eastern DRC September 15, 2017 at Kamanyola, South Kivu. The special investigation will look into the challenges facing the UN Organisation Stabilisation Mission in the DRC (MONUSCO) in discharging its mandate to protect civilians and provide recommendations on improving the performance of its troops. President Muhammadu Buhari has met with the leadership of the National Assembly led by the Senate President, Bukola Saraki at the Aso Rock Villa. Mr. Saraki who spoke briefly at the end of the meeting said they were at the villa to brief the president on the decisions and resolutions of the Senate regarding the Benue crisis. The Senate had during plenary on Tuesday given the Inspector General of Police, Ibrahim Idris, 14 days to arrest and prosecute the perpetrators of violence in Benue State. Over 70 people have been killed in Benue in 2018 in attacks by suspected herdsmen. A Senate committee report said ‘faceless people’ were sponsoring and harbouring foreign mercenaries who have been perpetrating killings in Benue and other parts of Nigeria. The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, has denied making attempt to arrest President Muhammdu Buhari’s Chief of Staff, Abba Kyari. Reports emerged last week that some security agents stormed the home of the President’s Chief of Staff to get him arrested. However, the EFCC said yesterday that it was not investigating Kyari, adding that it did not deploy its operatives in his Defence House quarters. He announced this at the government house, Ado Ekiti during a meeting with the 2017/2018 N-Power programme applicants from across the sixteen Local Government Areas in the state.
