Lagos State government Suspends NURTW Operations

Following the crisis rocking the National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW), Lagos Island Chapter, the State Government on Tuesday ordered the immediate suspension of all union activities on the Island indefinitely.

President Muhammadu Buhari has departed the United Kingdom for Nigeria. Buhari’s return trip was disclosed by the All Progressives Congress, APC, in the United Kingdom via its Twitter handle on Friday. Sharing photos and videos of Buhari’s departure from London, APC United Kingdom wrote: “BON VOYAGE We wish @NGRPresident @MBuhari and presidential team a safe flight back to Nigeria. “Nigeria Air force one departed #Stansted at exactly 12:33hrs for Nigeria.”
