Admission requirements

Admission requirements by University of Ibadan are determined by the particular course of study. Information regarding admission requirement is usually made available in the brochure published by JAMB every year.
For the College of Medicine, the student is required to have 5 O’ Level credits in required subjects and at one sitting.
For Pharmacy, the student is expected to have 5 O’ Level credits in stated subjects in the Jamb brochure at one sitting, just as it applies to Medicine.
In the other courses of study, the student is required to have 5 O’ Level credits at one sitting or 6 O’ Level credits at 2 sittings.
The first choice of result for admission is the O’ Level result. However, other relevant or equivalent results may be considered if the O’ Level result is deficient.
